Richard L. Garwin will speak at the 1985 Donald C. Samuel Lecture. He has published over 100 papers, been granted 27 U.S. patents, and is coauthor of the books NUCLEAR WEAPONS AND WORLD POLITICS (New York : McGraw-Hill, c1977), NUCLEAR POWER ISSUES AND CHOICES (Cambridge, Mass. : Ballinger Pub. Co., c1977), ENERGY: THE NEXT TWENTY YEARS (Cambridge, Mass. : Ballinger Pub. Co., c1979), and SCIENCE ADVICE TO THE PRESIDENT (New York : Pergamon Press, c1980).
